Bay Detailing Terms & Conditions
If bad weather is forecasted we have a gazebo that can be erected, we, therefore, ask for adequate space to be made for the gazebo to be set up. If this isn't possible then the service will be rebooked. (Please note our gazebo is only suitable for light wind and rain)
Vehicle interiors that are severely soiled with things such as heavy mud, pet hair, mold, and bodily fluids will be subject to additional charges being applied. This will be assessed upon inspection and agreed upon before work is carried out.
We require access to an electric point when carrying out our services if this isn't possible please let us know ASAP.
Bay Detailing will not be held liable for loss or damage of any personal belongings left in the vehicle whilst being worked on, it is the sole responsibility of the owner to ensure any items of value are removed prior to work being carried out.
All vehicles are cleaned at the customer's own risk.
Bay Detailing will not be held liable for any damage caused to ill-fitted trim, aftermarket parts, faulty parts, or pre-existing damage. Please ensure you make us fully aware of any problems before work is carried out.
Before any work is carried out a full inspection will be carried out on the vehicle prior to work starting, any defects or areas of potential issues will be documented and signed by ourselves.
We are unable to carry out our services in public car parks or roads that are in heavy use, we ask for alternative arrangements be made prior to booking if needed.
An inspection of the worksite will be carried out before works commencing, we must be parked next to the vehicle being worked on. If on the roadside we must be adjacent to the property so no cables or hoses are causing obstruction.
Payment & Discounts
Payments are to be made upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed.
Payments can be made via Cash, Card, BACS, receipts are available on request.
We offer a 10% discount for the following: NHS workers, emergency services, armed forces, and security. We ask for proof of employment for the discount to be applied.
Bookings and Cancellations
Our Ceramic & Enhancement services will require a 25% deposit to secure your booking.
Some services listed on our site may be subject to a nonrefundable deposit of 20% to secure booking.
We ask for a 48-hour notice period of any cancellations (unless an emergency), failure to do so may result in a charge.
In the case of bad weather, we will try to utilize our gazebo, if the weather is deemed too bad then the booking will be rescheduled.
Bay Detailing are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and GDPR)
Bay Detailing may collect information about you for 2 reasons: firstly, to process your order and second, to respond to any queries which you may have.
The type of information we may collect about you includes

- Email Adress
- Contact Number
- Address & Postcode
Bay Detailing will never collect information about you without your explicit consent.
The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct them promptly.
The personal information which we will hold will be held securely and in accordance with our internal security policy and the law.
We may use technology to track the patterns of behaviour of visitors to our site. This can include a "cookie" that would be stored on your browser.
You can usually modify your browser to prevent his from happening. The information collected in this way can be used to identify you unless you modify your browser settings.
